Data Engineer m/w/d

• We are an international team of 15 experts working together to build our new data lakehouse.
• We work on various tasks in Kanban mode, ticket by ticket. Wednesday is office day - on all other days you are free to decide where you are most productive.
• We love numbers and data, but people come first - every employee is valued here.
• We set ourselves high goals and want to achieve them together.
• In regular meetings, we discuss current topics, suggestions and challenges of the Data Lakehouse.
• Every Monday there is an internal meeting in which the teams present their projects - so we can learn from each other and with each other.
• Test, try, fail, learn, repeat. We try things out and dare to do something - that's progress.

Your job

• Together with your team, you implement our new state-of-the-art data lakehouse.
• For example, you develop scalable data integration pipelines, workflows with Apache Airflow, transformation processes with Spark, cleansing jobs, data catalogues and data models.
• You are not satisfied with the status quo, but constantly question parts of our architecture to make it even better.
• You work closely with the areas of Data Science, Data Analytics, AI Engineering, DevOps Engineering and Marketing Technology.
